WHILE I WAS OUT

So you may or may not have noticed my absence lately. This is partly, okay mostly, why! We've been a little busy making and growing a baby. And while I have a whole post planned to talk about everything, I will say that I have been feeling pretty lousy this time around and the last thing I want to do is sit down a write a blog post. I'm actually 10 weeks today, so as I near the end of my first trimester I hope (and pray) that all of my less than stellar feelings will turn around into some amazing energy and inspiration. Plus, Fall is almost here so there is that! Until then, thanks for sending emails and still commenting and being supportive without knowing why I wasn't around. Stephen and I are beyond excited to be planning for another baby!

LITTLE LADY

Today the love of my life turns three years old. 36 months. 1,095 days. The past three years seem to have gone by in hyper speed and yet, I almost cannot remember a time in my life before her. She's wild, and magic. Her kindness stops me in my tracks, and inspires me to be a better person. She is a baby deer with the power and force of a wild wind. Breathtaking, magnificent, and refreshing. She is the best parts of Stephen and I, but so much more. She is mine, and I am hers.

A few of her favorite things: 1// the color pink. 2// chicken nuggets. 3// trains and cars. 4// reading books before bed. 5// dancing. 6// telling jokes. 7// taking baths. 8// peanut butter. 9// being a helper. 10// putting her own shoes on.

HOTLANTA

Today we are Georgia bound, and I am SO excited! Stephen and I have gone annually to Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium for the past 3 years and I always look forward to it. We normally go in the Fall for Stephen's birthday, but this year we decided it was finally time to take Dakota, and with her birthday being this week it just seemed like the perfect time. She's been talking about it for weeks now saying "I'm gonna see Dory, and Nemo, and Marlin and Squirt!" My favorite thing is when she does "a seal." I can't wait to see the look on her face when we finally get there!

This is going to be a super quick trip (going up Sunday, and coming home Monday) but don't think I won't find time to stop into all the stores we don't have here. Most importantly, IKEA. This will be my second time and even though we are only going to get Dakota a new dresser, I'm sure I will find something amazing I just can't leave without (read: sheepskin rug)

Au Revoir!
